At Kells Lane, science lessons are centred around working scientifically. We break the National Curriculum into small, manageable steps, allowing children to focus on specific enquiry types and develop key scientific skills. This approach supports children in building their understanding gradually and securely, helping them to embed the different elements of scientific enquiry over time. Our science curriculum is underpinned by the latest Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) guidance report Improving Primary Science, ensuring lessons are carefully designed to promote curiosity, investigation and high-quality scientific thinking.
